Take me Fishing is the campaign that the RBFF ( The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation) is the founder of and they are soon to begin on their Spring leg of the campaign. The essence of the campaign is to get youngsters enthusiastic about fishing and boating and related activities such as angling to keep the spirit of fishing and boating as recreation and sport alive for generations to come. The RBFF has some help for this campaign to get the youngsters all geared up, they have Aaron McAlexander and Jose Wejebe this time to help build up the excitement.
This kind of an effort is being made because of recent reports and studies that claim that children today are spending more than on an average seven hours in a day on things such as the television and internet and listening to music and being on the phone. The RBFF thinks that it is about time that they got kids enthusiastic about outdoor activities such as fishing before it becomes too late to get the attention of the next generation.
The RBFF is offering content on their website on how to and where to and why to take up fishing and boating and they are taking their target of awareness beyond just providing the useful content. The organization is starting off this year by attending the Miami Boat Show where they will launch their interactive salt water fishing content and also give kids and their parents to meet and interact Aaron McAlexander and Jose Wejebe to encourage them about the sport.
